What is fast track and how do I qualify?
What is fast track and how do I qualify?
Updated over a week ago

A feature we offer our GYS Home account holders is the opportunity to fast track their waiting time to be considered for home finance. Fast track may be available for GYS Home account holders if they meet certain eligibility criteria, including:

  • You have invested with us for a minimum of 6 months

  • You have completed your finance requirements here

  • You have your initial equity (deposit amount) prepared

  • You meet our eligibility criteria for the Home Provision Scheme

There may be instances where fast track is not available due to limited places. As we have a substantial waiting list for our home finance product, we aim to ensure we are fair with all our customers by only offering limited monthly fast track positions on a first come, first served basis. We aim to offer this feature to all our GYS Home customers in the future, but until then, please get in touch to check fast track availability in any month.

If available, fast-tracking your application can be great if you have time constraints - for example if your current tenancy is coming to an end, but it’s worth considering what this means for you in the short term. By opting for fast track, you will be offered our standard rental rates up to the first 4 years of your term, before you benefit from our preferential rental rates (which we reserve exclusively for GYS Home account holders, once their turn arises).

The table below displays the duration you can expect to be on our standard rates, depending on your requirements and eligibility:

Once you have been on the standard rates for the set period of time laid out below, as long as you meet the target monthly payment (your rent + equity contribution) in any given month, you will receive preferential rates for that month.
