If you cannot afford your rent payment after utilising your equity buffer, we can support you with a repayment plan or short payment holiday

Updated over a year ago

In the very unlikely situation you’ve used all of your equity buffer and you’re still unable to pay rent, we will try our best to support you. This may include setting up a repayment plan or a short payment holiday.

However, if we’re unable to find a suitable solution, unfortunately, we may have to repossess the property. We will always try our best to ensure this does not happen.

Working with customers:

We work very closely with our customers to provide as much help and support as we can in the event you may be experiencing financial difficulty.

If you’re worried about affording your rent payments, get in touch with us as soon as possible, we’ll help find a solution to suit you. Remember we're always here to help.

Finally, we always recommend you seek independent advice so you are well informed before entering any home purchase or investment opportunity. You can find a variety of tools and guidance from certified free money advice organisations here.
