How is my Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) calculated?
With Pfida’s home finance solution, Pfida Finance PLC has to pay SDLT at the Corporation Tax Rate when buying the property. This cost is added to the purchase price, which together forms the amount you’ll pay to buy the property from the PLC under our policy.
You’ll pay SDLT when the property title is transferred to you. For example, if a property costs £100,000 and SDLT is £3,000, your acquisition price (total amount you pay) is £103,000, and SDLT is calculated on this amount. Unlike traditional landlords who sell at market value, we sell at the acquisition price, letting you keep any property value increase.
